And which teams are disappointments this season in terms of how bad they have been so far this season as well?

Which teams in the NFL are surprises in terms of how good they have been so far this season?nba champs

Good

Lions

Bills

Chiefs

Bucs

Texans

I forgot about the Browns

Bad

Every team in the NFC West

Jets

Chargers

Broncos

Bears

Eagles

Ravens

Which teams in the NFL are surprises in terms of how good they have been so far this season?basketball shoes ,nba teams

Ooh you could also throw the Green bay Packers in the mix as a good surprise as well for the same reasons as the Titans. Report It

As a Packer fan, they are surprising me every week. I didn't expect them to do this well. Next is the Lions. They are playing great and I can't wait till we play the Lions then the Cowboys the following week. This will tell everyone how good the Pack are or aren't.
The two good surprises that come to mind right off is Detroit and Cleveland.

The other end of the spectrum is New Orleans, which is turning it around in a big way now, and then there is St. Louis and San Fran. St. Louis due to injuries, I think is the primary reason, and with the 49ers I think the loss of Norv Turner and a couple of key injuries hurt them. I don't think much of Norv as a head coach (Chargers surprisingly bad), but as an offensive coordinator, I think he is one of the best in the game today.
browns lion and packers
The Lions , Browns are big surprises and the biggest disappointments are the Dolphins , Jets and Rams and Bengals and Broncos
The Detroit Lions are full of joy this year and the Miami Dolphins stink.
Surprise- Lions, Browns

Disappointment- Chargers, Rams
Ok the biggest shocker has to be the Browns cause i didnt even think they would win more than 5 games and they are about to do it (not this week though GO STEELERS lol). And the biggest disappointment is right now the Chargers cause they have all the talent on that team and cant do anything (all cause of Norv Turner). I would have said the Saints a few weeks ago but they are finally getting their **** together lol.
Browns

Packers
the team that has surprised me the most so far this season is the detroit lions.
lions are a surprise, chargers are a disappointment, along with the bears and eagles. as a bears fan i hoped they would be good, but then they named rex starting quarterback and i cried.
Up - Browns

Down - Bengals

the 2 Ohio teams records were switched in most folks prognostications.
surprises- Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Green Bay, Detriot

Disappiontments- San Diego, St Louis, San Fransico, Denver
Green Bay has to be the biggest surprise and San Diego would be the biggest diappointment.
the lions and rams both suprised me. lions are very good and the rams just arent what everyone expected.
The Browns.

DONT MESS WITH THE POUND!!!!!!!!!
I'm surprised with Detroit, Tennessee and Buffalo but that might just be me...
teams i am impressed with

Lions

Packers

teams i thought would be doing better

Saints

Dolphins

Seahawks

Rams

Titans

I am impressed with the lions and packers because for a while they wernt doing well but now there really good. and i am also a pats fan Go Pats!!!

What is the longest completed pass in NFL history? Not the pass + the following run. Just the pass?

The NFL web site lists many 99-yard pass plays but this is for the total yards gained on the play, not the pass alone. Also I am wondering if NFL quarterbacks can stand in one end zone and throw the ball between the uprights at the other end. Can they throw the ball that far?

What is the longest completed pass in NFL history? Not the pass + the following run. Just the pass?nba 08

Im pretty sure Don Meredith threw an 83 yard pass to Bob Hayes. 95 yards with the yards after catch.

What is the longest completed pass in NFL history? Not the pass + the following run. Just the pass?nba finals ,nba teams

Folk law. Where is the 2nd longest listed? It's BS... Report It

Most of them cant throw that far. But the longest pass without the run after was 99 yards.
Passing stats are catch and run. So, unless you have film and can mark the yards, good luck, this stat will be unknown.
I don't believe that stat is kept separately.
how would we know? the nfl doesnt record that
Mots can't throw it past 65 yards, so I'd say around there...Just watch highlights from all of Randy Moss's games and find the longest one
terry bradshaw has had several HUGE completed passes

amazing arm on that man

Why does the Carolina Panthers Field have an NFl logo instead of a panther?

Why?

Why does the Carolina Panthers Field have an NFl logo instead of a panther?nba finals 2007

i think its because they might share the field with acollegefootball or high school team or somethin so if there logo was in the middle of the field during acollegefootball game it would be awkward

Why does the Carolina Panthers Field have an NFl logo instead of a panther?www.nba.com ,nba teams

Ask Roger Goodell
Because, they don't even believe in themselves!

Go Vike's
because they suck so bad it ran off in shame losers
don't know
too hard to paint
The Black Panthers sued them for copyright infringment
That is a good question. Only reason I can think of is that they didn't know what the symbol would be when they made the stadium and kept it as is or they can't figure out how to do it...
They want to respect the league and not brag about them self.
Probably cuz their marketing department hasn't decided on a good logo. Honestly, Carolina blue isn't a good football color, especially if u accent it with silver and black. So you need a logo of a cat that doesn't look gay, tough to do.

How many NFL quarterbacks whose name starts with "Mc" can you name?

I got to thinking about this a few years ago at UCLA when we had Cade McNown starting and Ryan McCann as second string. Around the same time Donovan McNabb and Steve McNair were on the scene. It just seems to me that there have been a lot of quarterbacks whose last name started with "Mc," even more so than other positions. How many past/present can you name?

How much does a undrafted NFL rookie signed as free agent make on average?

actually they ussually get signed for one year making minimum of 100k-250k

How much does a undrafted NFL rookie signed as free agent make on average?nba all star

not much maybe 300,000 to 500,000 but if your good then your next year you could get a bigger contract.. and it also depends on you manager and how good he is..

Who is the biggest crybaby in NFL history?

Is it T.O., Randy Moss, Chad Johnson, Joey Porter, or someone not on my list.

I am talking about career wise, not the "rejuvanted" part of their career.

Who is the biggest crybaby in NFL history?nba standings

John Elway before he won his Super Bowls

Who is the biggest crybaby in NFL history?nba referee ,nba teams

Bill Poulian owner of the Colts

how many years did he cry to the league

about the Patriots and how hard the pats corners

were hitting their recievers off the line of scrimmage

how many rules have changed since then so Indy could win a super bowl ,.................FACT
T.O by far
Tom Brady has never cried about anything in his whole football career, which shows what an idiot the guy who can't find his shirt is. Randy Moss cried to get out of Oakland, and look at him now? Cry babies are people that blame others for their short comings, like fans of everyone the Pats beat. I think the coach of the NY Jets is a pretty big crybaby.
Peyton Manning, when they lose he always pawns it off on someone else. I also remember back in the 2003 playoff game with Pats after they lost he made some comments saying that the Pats defensive backs had played to rough. I see a lot of Tom Brady answers out there but I dont think ive ever seeon brady whine after a game.
I will go with Tom Brady as well
i havta say cowboy vic
Thats a really tough question! I remember in the late 80's early 90's the Colts had a quarterback named Jeff George. Even Colts fans where saying that he complained to much. But I dunno! I mean that award could be given to alot of people.
Leaf is legendary
Gawd I am so sick of Cowboy Vic today....

gonna go with Peyton "cant win a game all by myself" Manning
Donvan "I get criticized because I'm black" McNabb.
Last year's Arizona Cardinals coach. That blow up by him after the lost to Chicago definitely stands out in my mind. It's funny that the beer commercials play it now.

"We let 'em off the hook!"

I laugh whenever I see it.
Keyshawn Johnson or Tiki Barber
T.O is a big crybaby but he gets the job done.
I really can't decide - T.O. - or Keyshawn.

Both have done nothing but cause problems. Although T.O. has been pretty quiet since Dallas.

Although Mark Gastineau could be thrown in as a close third!
Ryan Leaf
Tom Brady thinks everything must go perfect and the slightest error sends him into cry baby/spaz mode.
dick vermeil cried the most, by far.
Cowboy Vic %26gt;:D
T.O by far!!
well in history we gotta say ryan leif, but of now its a toss up of to and moss, to will always say something but moss may have found his place to be but the season isnt over yet
any team that plays the Patriots and say that they run up the score because they cant stop them.
Tom Brady. He will fold like a lawn chair this week against the Colts.
im sure tom brady isnt the first one to get down on himself for making a mistake. he never whines and your fools to think that is considered whining.

As for the question. MOST DEFINATLY L.T
T. Owens is the biggest whiner in the leauge.

Hands down, no competition. He can be #1 for this since all he wants to be is #1 anyway.
Tom Brady? He never throws any of his teammates under the bus like Mr. Commercial boy Peyton Manning does! See people, you mouth off and throw comments out there that you have nothing to back it up with, because you are jealous of Tom Brady...but...

I research: Here is the proof suckers. Read it and weep.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1piy8Zxd...
bellichick. he pouts TONS
Ryan Leaf.

the others have nothing on his rants, locker room tantrums, fighting with reporters. etc..

Do some searches on him, you will be shocked.
first one that comes to mind is t.o.
Eric Mangini, ny jets coach.
Tom Brady. This is the easiest question I have answered today.

What does a Dime Back mean at NFL Football?

I would like to bet on NFL this season, so firstable I would like to knoe some terms.

What does a Dime Back mean at NFL Football?nba mvp

Dime Back

The second extra, or sixth total, defensive back. Named because a dime has the same value as two nickels.

What does a Dime Back mean at NFL Football?nba trades ,nba teams

when there are 3 defensive back's on the field it is a formation commonly refered to as Nickel form (3 db's + 2 safeties). the dime back is the 4th db in any formation. the term dime comes from the fact that he is another db, so if the 3rd is the nickel, two nickels equal a dime.
it means ur playing the run
